Right now the main animal problem for the home and business owner is female squirrels searching for a place to have their second litter. The dry conditions are also generating more calls regarding raccoons and opossums getting into trash-cans, and then into attics and crawlspaces. We have also received many complaints concerning bats in attics. The young are venturing out to test their flying ability and can create quite a stir. In most cases, unless State regulations say otherwise, animals are relocated to land in Northern Sumner County.
